Therapeutic Approach
I am committed to making therapy a safe and meaningful experience, developing a relationship with you based on trust and understanding to best support you. My approach is trauma-informed, strength-based, and client-centered; meaning I first focus on building a warm, trusting, collaborative relationship with you and then I use a variety of techniques depending on what issues you want to work on. I use a variety of evidence-based counselling models and techniques and am passionate about sharing strategies, knowledge and perspectives with you.

"The role of the psychotherapist is to provide the client with a secure base from which they can explore their life, past and present, many of which he/she/[they] find difficult or perhaps impossible to think about and reconsider without a trusted companion to provide support, encouragement, sympathy, and, on occasion guidance"
- John Bowlby
