Insurance
Although psychotherapy is a regulated health profession in Ontario, unfortunately it is not currently covered under OHIP. However, many extended health benefits/employer and student benefits do cover psychotherapy costs, just as they would cover dental services and prescriptions. Please review your employee/student coverage prior to our first session.

Psychotherapists receive specific training that is evidence-based and practical. We are governed by specific codes of ethics and bound to the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) to protect your privacy and ensure confidentiality.
My Fee
Our initial telephone or email consultation is free and my rate is $141.59+HST ($160.00) per session.
One of the largest barriers to therapy is affordability for those who do not have insurance. I
never want cost to be the reason you do not seek support. I am able to provide a sliding scale for clients in need, so please contact me and we will find a fee that works. Here are some of the local no-cost mental health resources and supports if you are in crisis.
